Easter

Easter was a lot of fun for us this year. It was a little strange not having family around but friends defiantly made up for it. Saturday afternoon there was a school sponsored event that included an Easter egg hunt and a pot luck dinner. Hayden loved looking for eggs and was really good at it we had to stop him because he kept finding more and they each kid got a certain amount.

Sunday morning was fun Hayden went out into the living room first like he does every morning, and comes running in Momma, Daddy I got a bike and its lightning McQueen. He as been wanting one for awhile now. He went and got his helmet that he got from his Aunt Charlotte.  After church Brian took Hayden downstairs to ride his bike while I was making rolls for dinner.  We then headed up to Selah and had dinner with friends at their local park. The dad's were so good to play ball with the kids and Hayden loved hitting the ball and running. He got some good hits actually. Future baseball player YAY!!!

8 kids and 3 Adults enjoying the coast

After Jenn did parent teacher conference we loaded up and headed over to the coast. We got some lunch then we found a place where the kids could go explore the tide pools. They all had so much fun touching the animals and seeing the sea lions. Hayden loved seeing the starfishes. They also found a cave that they had to explore before we left. We had to walk down a a pebble beach which was not very fun. We hadn't planned on doing this so we were all in our sandals. The next day we were all sore from helping the kids get around. After the tide pools we headed to a beach to play in the sand. It was Bentley's first time at the beach all of her photos are on her mother's camera. Hayden and Thomas loved digging and running around. Hayden kept jumping in a puddle that Evan had created by digging a hole.

This is a car Jenn and I saw leaving the outlets we had to send it to Adrianne. It said something about the car being her present for beating cancer on the window.

Hayden and Lerin's many travels

Hayden and I started our travels the end of March as we headed to my niece's baptism. We drove all the way to Utah in one day. We were so excited to spend time with my family hanging out at a friend's cabin.

This is Hayden and I about half way through our trip. I love having a good traveler makes my life so much easier.

At the cabin Grandma Paula got to sleep with Hayden and I, but Thomas wanted to join in. So he climbed in bed with Hayden and Grandma and sang songs. If we would have had a bigger bed we would have kept him but a queen with 4 people is a tight fit. He was really sad when his mom came and got him.
After the baptism Reynold took Hayden with him and headed home with all the kids. Then Jennifer and I followed on Monday after we had a fun day with Mom, Adrianne, Gpa, Gma, and Aunt Lisa. We drove through the night and we were only expecting a little rain. We got space travel, this was a picture without the brights on. It was all good though we got there safe at 5:00 AM. I know people think we are crazy.
The kids had so much fun playing with together.

This is how Evan listened to conference.

Adrianne and her family joined us on Sunday at Jennifer's house because her kids had spring break. Her birthday was on Monday we the girls went to lunch and got pedicures. Then we took the boys, and Ren to see Captain America (The Movie was Annie's choice which was awesome)

This was they boys singing to frozen after the movie, and yes they were all singing this was just the best photo.

We had so much fun playing at Jenn's house we went to the coast one day and shopping at the outlets another. I will do a post about the coast. My husband was very happy for me to come home, by the time we finally got home it had been 2 1/2 weeks. It was a little long but so fun.

Spring Break with the Christensens

Brian had spring break in March and we decided to head to Fruitland for a few days. It was a lot of fun while we were there we were able to see Charlotte and her family, and also Tony and Jasmine came out to see us before they headed to Costa Rica. It was so much fun Grandpa Kurt bought a new swing for the yard and everyone helped put it together. The kids love it already.

Hayden is always a good traveler.

This was Hayden eating a roasted marshmallow, He loves them a lot!

This is putting up the swing and a video of some of the kids on it.
